Victoria Body Corporate Services was founded in 1982 to provide management services to owners corporations, stratum estates and company share scheme properties.
The founder, Herman Klein, was the principal of a public accounting practice and a number of his clients owned investment properties. Many of these clients expressed dissatisfaction with the standard of owners corporation management being offered at that time.
In order to assist his clients, Mr Klein carried out research into owners corporation management and found that there were a few specialist firms and other firms such as real estate agents who usually managed only a few owners corporations which did not allow the development of significant expertise.
It was clear that there was an opportunity to provide competent and skilled management in an area which had previously been largely undervalued. Victoria Body Corporate Services commenced operation in 1982 specialising in owners corporation management utilising the founder's skills as a Certified Practising Accountant and qualification in Law.
Victoria Body Corporate Services now provides a comprehensive service for all types of owners corporations with expertise in residential, high-rise apartments, retail shopping strips, shopping centres, professional office suites and industrial properties.
